Wedding Contract

This document is a legal and binding contract between the two parties stated below and if necessary can be used in a court of law.  Modifications to the contract are not valid unless acknowledged and signed by both parties.  This contract states all parties involved as well as policies, exact dates & times as well as all charges and total cost. Prices & Payments: The fee for using the grounds at 7035 Campus Dr. is $995, a non-refundable service fee.  $100 is required to reserve your wedding date and will be put towards your service fee once the contract is signed. Use of the building at 7035 Campus Dr. is only permitted with written consent of Elegant Beginnings and should only be for pictures, restrooms, wedding party dressing, check in/guest book and gifts.  In addition to the service fee, a refundable security deposit of $995 is required to ensure the grounds are left in their original condition.  The final payment of the service fee and security deposit is due 60 days before the wedding day.  All cancellations must be in writing and when they are 60 days before the wedding, are fully refundable (security deposit and service fee).  However, for cancellations made 59 days or less before the wedding date, only the security deposit will be returned, but the service fee will NOT be returned.   Final payments must be made by cash, cashier’s check, money order or accepted credit card.

Security Deposit: Upon completion of the wedding ceremony and/or reception, the areas used (grounds and may include the main building) shall be returned to the condition in which the wedding party lessees found it, including removal of chairs, tables and tents.  Trash must be collected and disposed of immediately or if necessary within 24 hours.  The security deposit will be deducted $60/hr for trash/debris cleanup if the property (including indoor if used) is not cleaned up.  Also, any property damage done will be assessed and taken out of the security deposit or if needed see restitution.  Please, no nails or tacks attached to walls, fixtures or any other piece of property on the grounds.  Tent stakes are permitted.

Policies: Decorating is permitted, however, staples, nails, tacks and glue is prohibited. Instead you may use string, twist ties or a light tape.  Throwing of confetti or rice is prohibited (birdseed, bubbles and rose petals are permitted).  Pets and smoking are prohibited indoors and on the grounds of the facility.  Volume on musical equipment should be a reasonable level.  The caterer must be completely self-sufficient.  There is not a facility for cooking, cooling or washing dishes.  Please ensure your catering company has an alcohol permit if alcohol is served on the premises.  Elegant Beginnings will not be liable for any violations and fines that are served as the result of alcohol.  Please remember that your guests are your responsibility and you will be held accountable for their actions.  A building service worker is assigned to the building during the wedding and will be in charge.  Failure to abide by these policies may result in penalty deductions from the security deposit.

Weather: We recommend that in case of poor weather conditions that the lessees rent a tent for shelter of the guests.  If bad weather occurs, the wedding ceremony and reception cannot be held in the main building.  The building does not have the capabilities for a large group of people in one area.

Rented Items: Elegant Beginnings has a contract with AAA Rental Company so that the bride and groom can rent their supplies (tent, chairs and tables) at a 15% discount (excluding tax and delivery).  Maintenance, reasonable care and return of all items are the responsibility of the lessees as well as any charges that are the result of damages or excess time used.
